Looking for a podiatrist in Dickson? I am Alex Murray, a sports and exercise podiatrist and rehabilitation coach, and I have recently moved The Rehab Podiatrist to a new home in the heart of Dickson. From my clinic in Dickson Chambers, I help people across Canberra’s inner north understand and overcome foot, ankle and leg pain, so they can get back to the activities they love.

Why Choose The Rehab Podiatrist in Dickson

I have spent more than 13 years helping people in pain, from the clinic to the sports field, and from casual hikers through to elite athletes. I am a Registered Podiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine, have training in Strength and Conditioning and in 2023, I was awarded Fellowship to the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in recognition of my skills and experience.
I am also an educator, mentor and author, teaching allied health professionals around the world how to help their patients overcome foot and ankle pain.
What that means for you is care built on up to date research and real experience. My approach is simple: I provide the highest quality foot and ankle care, I keep my advice friendly and approachable, and I am always honest and tailored to your circumstances so you can make the best decisions for yourself. Appointments are long by design, giving us the time to properly understand and manage your condition.
I am also an LGBTQI+ friendly practitioner, have experience helping neurodivergent children and adults and follow the principles of the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach in my clinical practice, so everyone is welcome and cared for with respect.

Some symptoms need more urgent medical attention rather than a routine appointment. Please see your GP, visit an urgent care centre or call 000 if you have any of the following:
Podiatry supports your recovery, but it does not replace emergency care where these warning signs are present.
