My name is Alex Murray and I’m a Sports Podiatrist and Rehabilitation Coach based in Canberra. I love helping patient with lower limb pain and injury return to living a healthy and meaningful life.

I’m excited to announce the opening of my clinic, The Rehab Podiatrist, right in the heart of Canberra, in Sydney Ave, Barton.

Over the last nearly 10 years of practicing in Canberra, I realised that most patients don’t come to see me just because of pain, but what that pain stops them doing, or are concerned about what it could stop them from doing.

It became obvious that my job wasn’t just about focusing on a person’s specific pain or injury, but also helping them manage the disruption recovery can have on their life, and in the long term return them to what they want to be doing with their life.

That’s why over the years of practice, I developed a unique approach to my patients, focusing not just on their foot, ankle, or leg, but their whole life. This expansion moved me from not just being a Podiatrist working on someone, but shifting to working together with my patient, coaching, and guiding them through their recovery.

The most exciting part of starting this clinic, is being able to build a space from the ground up, focused on this approach of injury treatment and coaching patients through recovery.
